This is a painting that was in my computer folder called "Unknown American Paintings" for years until just yesterday when I finally found the information about it. When you search for this image online there is a great deal of color difference between the various photographs of this painting, unfortunately, and the picture from the National Gallery isn't too good either. The image here seems to have been photoshopped somewhat. The detail photographs however were taken by me.
