I think the figure in this painting looks stiff. Also, I am not entirely sure if her right arm is correct--it looks a little low on the body. I love the way her coat is painted, however. Nothing says happy like a yellow coat.
How often I've studied this painting never seeing the problem with the right arm. You are correct.
